Before a resident moves into White House Care Home, we hold consultations with the resident and their family to make sure we can meet their unique needs. We collaborate with our residents and their loved ones to learn about their everyday routines, hobbies, and preferences, which we then integrate into their care plans. Our approach to care is focused on the individual, aiming to support residents in preserving their independence and dignity, while reassuring them of our constant support.

Our team specialising in dementia care undergoes regular training to ensure they hold a broad understanding of the multiple stages of dementia. From supporting residents in activities and therapies to aiding them in communication and personal care, our teams have the competence and knowledge to offer adept care to our residents with dementia.

White House Care Home offers a wellbeing programme that embraces everyone, featuring both group and individual activities and therapies. For example, we frequently organise arts and crafts sessions, music therapy, reminiscence activities, and more. These activities and therapies are formulated to promote the physical, cognitive, and social wellbeing of all residents, including those affected by dementia.

At White House Care Home, we require a 28-day notice period for residents receiving any of our long-term care types and are looking to move out. Our compassionate team are on hand around the clock to support you with your moving transition and answer any further questions you have.
