Springtime Fun With Visits From Baby Animals

Spring has finally arrived! Bringing with it the visit of lots of baby chicks and ducks. These adorable animals have brought joy to our residents, sparking memories of their childhoods when they kept their own chickens and watched chicks run around their feet. Sharing these nostalgic stories creates a warm community atmosphere, and it's always a great pleasure to see how these visits brighten everyone's day.

A Day Out in the Spring Sunshine at Radwell Lake
We've been enjoying the beautiful spring weather with trips to Radwell Lake, one of our favourite places to visit. Residents had the opportunity to admire the ducks, geese, and swans, and enjoyed the colours of blooming daffodils, crocuses, and blossoming trees. The peaceful birdsong and sunshine made the experience even more special for us!

Spring Colours Spark Creativity
The vibrant colours of spring have inspired many new craft ideas for us at the care home! Our residents are very excited to get creative with Easter-themed projects this year, which will actually be displayed around the home in the coming months. This is a great way for residents to express their creativity while celebrating the Easter season.
Boosting Mood and Also Well-being
Our trips outside the home are more than just a fun way to spend time. They promote dignity, independence, and a better quality of life. Residents choose the destinations so that they're involved in decision-making and enjoy a sense of adventure. These outings are also fantastic for physical health, as the gentle walks improve mobility and circulation. A break from routine definitely helps refresh the mind, massively boosting mood and offering new experiences for all.
