Dig In and Grow at White House Care Home

Residents shopping for plants

Gardening clubs bring people together – folks who just love getting their hands dirty and making things grow. Here at White House Care Home in Letchworth Garden City, our Tuesday Gardening Club isn't just about tips and tricks (though you'll get plenty of those!). It's about feeling like you belong, whether you're a complete beginner or can talk the Latin names of plants all day long.

Gardening is good for the soul, and gardening together is pure joy. If you'd like a place to plant some seeds and new friendships, our club might be the perfect spot for you.

Speaking of planting seeds... remember Yudjel, Edna, and our amazing carer Haley? The other day, these three plant enthusiasts set off for the garden center on a little adventure! Picking the best flowers and greenery for our home's beautiful gardens was quite a debate – but they always decide together. They came back buzzing about turning our yard into an even more stunning escape. The best outings happen like that, don't they?
